The bathing station at Woodbine Beach has been recently renovated with upgraded ventilation and lighting, a new roof, an enlarged patio, change rooms, accessible washrooms, water bottle filling stations, and a beach shower with a foot wash.
Visitors can rent a beach wheelchair for free by calling 311 and picking it up at the Donald D. Summerville Outdoor Pool. It's important to note that due to large, smooth tires, the wheelchairs can't be pushed manually and require a support person.
