The menu is inspired by the dishes Chef Nick Liu ate growing up as the son of Hakka parents in Canada, as well as the traditional dishes his ancestors have been eating for hundreds of years.

The philosophy is that thoughtful and high quality ingredients lead to better lives and more delicious meals. The restaurant focuses on using local and sustainable ingredients.

The chef adds his own signature flair to the ancient favourites, updating them to suit the western palate and modern demand for local and sustainable ingredients.
