Driving is an art and you should learn it from a certified driving school to gain better skills and confidence. Certified instructors provide in-depth knowledge of driving, improve your skills, and instill confidence in you to drive safely and smoothly on any road. They ensure you learn both theoretical and practical aspects of driving, making you comfortable behind the wheel and helping you understand the importance of safe driving.
On your final day of in-class instruction, you will receive an in-car instructor's name and number to book appointments based on availability. Contact the instructor to schedule lessons. In-class instruction can be done without a G1 license, but a G1 license is required for in-car instruction. Payment can be made by cash or cheque at the driving school location.
A paper copy of your certificate is required for the road test day, even though you are certified electronically through the MTO system. Two weeks after your final in-car lesson, you can check your certification status on the website to ensure everything is in order.
